Refinancing of residential care portfolio for Lenferink Group successfully completed

PolarReal has successfully arranged the refinancing of a portfolio of residential care and assisted living real estate for the Lenferink Group. Over the past few years, Lenferink Group has built up a portfolio of residential care locations across the Netherlands. Various properties were acquired and redeveloped, and subsequently leased on a long-term basis to specialised operators.

For three of these now stabilised and fully leased locations – situated in Heerlen, Zutphen, and Drachten – PolarReal structured and arranged long-term investment financing. The portfolio comprises a total of 310 residential care units with a combined gross floor area of approximately 25,000 m².

The various loans, totaling €27 million, were provided by Nestr, Casarion, Mogelijk, and VFF. This transaction highlights PolarReal’s strong position in arranging complex financings within the rapidly growing healthcare real estate sector.
