Norbert Jansen

Founding Partner/Director

Norbert founded PolarReal in 2009. He has over 30 years of experience in Real Estate Investment, Asset Management, Development and Financing. He holds degrees in Management and Spatial Economics.

In his previous positions with first FGH Bank and later Bouwfonds, Norbert has originated/restructured over €1.5 billion in real estate loans. As CFO of TCN Property Projects he was involved with projects in The Netherlands and internationally with a total value of over €2.4 billion.

Aron Kovacs

Partner & Director

Aron and Norbert set up PolarReal's Debt & Capital Advisory business together in 2012. He holds an MBA from London Business School and has over 25 years of experience in Real Estate Investment, Asset Management and Finance.

Previously at Bouwfonds Property Finance, Aron was initially responsible for new market entry as a lender in Italy, Turkey, UK and Switzerland; later he oversaw the restructuring and sale of European loan portfolios. He has originated/restructured over €1 billion of real estate debt.

Pieter Rodermond

Regional Director Zuid-Holland

Pieter has over 20 years of experience in Real Estate Finance and Development. He joined PolarReal in 2018 as Regional Director focused on clients in the South-West of the Netherlands. Pieter studied Law at RU Leiden.

Positions in Pieter's previous carreer included roles as Investment Director at TCN Property Projects and as Account Manager for Restructuring and Recovery at FGH Bank (Rabobank). He has a strong network in and understanding of key players and drivers in the Hague/Rotterdam market.

Teun Deckers

Senior Associate

Teun has over 15 years of experience in Real Estate Asset Management and Finance. He joined PolarReal in 2014 and is the lead for Asset Managements and Valuations. He has a BA in History & Economics from Union College NY.

Having worked on numerous projects in Europe, the Benelux and the US, Teun has extensive international experience and a strong network. He has previously held property and asset management positions at DTZ Zadelhoff and SNS Property Finance.

Robin Dorré

Analyst

Robin joined PolarReal in 2019 after successfully finishing his Masters (UvA) degree in Corporate and Real Estate Finance. He brings a strong analytical focus combined with high level of modelling skills to the team.

Prior to PolarReal, Robin worked in various roles at Savills , Annexum and BuroAmsterdam. He gained a broad range of experience in Real Estate, Asset Management and Financing, which enables him to approach projects from different angels.
