Refinancing Project Clyde

At the end of 2024, we have successfully completed the refinancing of the Stadioncomplex Zwolle for SOZ B.V., represented by Lenferink Groep Zwolle.

PolarReal initially arranged the financing for this property in 2017 in the form of vendor financing (transferable to a buyer, subject to approval by the lender). When the property was acquired by a consortium led by Lenferink Groep Zwolle, we assisted the new owners in taking over the loan. In the years since, the new owners succeeded in further optimizing the property. Occupancy of 100% with long lease contracts was achieved through active asset management making this an ideal moment to place an attractive long-term loan.

The new loan was provided by Rabobank Corporate Clients Nederland team NorthEast. It is a financing solution that is in line with the investment strategy of SOZ and its shareholders.
