The Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences has invited Norbert Jansen to give a guest lecture on the 16th of November on ‘Real Estate Finance’ to the students of the Minor+: Real Estate and Project Development Studies.
Norbert explained to the students about the do’s and don’ts when financing real estate followed up with a discussion about the expectations in the real estate and financing landscape.
Students naturally mainly look ahead. What are the expectations for the future? How will the values develop? For the University of Applied Sciences, they will soon have to calculate a land development costing model, so the discussion also touched on the main elements that are important in this. Also discussed a number of viewing and reading tips, including ‘The Art of War’ by Sun Tzu.
