A well-established Dutch property investor and developer was aiming to add three more assets to their care home portfolio. Two of these were already in use as care/assisted living facilities and the third one needed to undergo redevelopment, but with significant pre-letting already in place. They needed funding to enable them to acquire the assets and implement their capex plan.
An experienced Dutch bank with a strong track record in care homes
PolarReal was able to secure funding with attractive terms from a Dutch bank to finance the acquisition of these three assets in various locations in the country. With a thorough understanding of the Dutch care home sector, the lender was able to provide funding that recognised the long term value in the assets. The financing included a sizable capex funding line, which allowed our client to implement their capex and letting strategy.
