€93.5 million refinancing of a prime portfolio anchored by monumental office buildings in Amsterdam.
After acquiring several monumental Amsterdam office buildings over the past 2-3 years, a leading Dutch investment firm successfully implemented an ambitious strategy of upgrading and (re)letting those assets. They were now looking to put a selection of these assets into a financing portfolio, aiming for very attractive finance terms.
As the quality of the underlying assets was further demonstrated by their stability and continued interest from tenants even through the Covid-19 crisis, PolarReal was able to create a competitive process in the market. We eventually secured a loan in 2 tranches at very attractive terms from a conservative lender looking for the most stable assets in the market.
Sharp financing conditions: loan in 2 tranches from a German Pfandbriefbank
PolarReal assisted in the refinancing of several prime Amsterdam office buildings, while simultaneously financing the acquisition of some supermarkets and daily goods stores. This contributed to further strengthening the portfolio base.
PolarReal provides quarterly loan reporting to the lender on behalf of our client.
